Her beauty, naivete and kindness make her appealing to men of all classes–she becomes pregnant after a liaison with a well-known senator, and ends up living out of wedlock with a wealthy heir. The book explores the impact of the decisions we make, as well as societal and economic injustices.
Paranormal young adult book taking place mostly in a juvenile detention center. The story was interesting, but somewhat far-fetched and there were a good number of gaping holes in the plot. Still, though, it had murder, ballerinas and ghosts. An entertaining read for these rainy days.
