Prima Donna, Megan Chance
Sabine Conrad is an impoverished young girl with a phenomenal voice. With the help of her brother and a family friend, she becomes one of the most acclaimed opera singers in the country. But then, of course, sex, power, greed, jealousy, etc. take over and chaos ensues.
All of the characters, especially the protagonist, were insufferable. That being said, the story is clever enough and it was a fun read.
